Termites are a part of our local desert ecosystem. These wood-destroying pests are fairly common in Las Cruces. If you are just building your home, we offer prevention services in the form of pre-construction termite treatments. We also inspect homes for evidence of termites and provide an estimate to treat if termites are found.

Below is a view at what we look for and what we do when treating a home for subterranean termites. [1. Termite damage in bathroom 2. Shelter tubes scraped from garage door indicating termite damage]  Our process includes trenching and treating around the perimeter of the home [3 and 4], drilling holes in the concrete areas surrounding home and injecting the chemical [5 and 6]. We then insert a cork in each of the drill holes and cover it up with a cement seal.  We also treat all plumbing penetrations on the interior of the home with a foam termiticide.

Pruning is a large part of our business during the winter months, and we can perform tree removals at any time of year. The following is a look at our process of removing a large pine tree. We branch it until only the trunk is left.

At this point, we begin to work our way down the trunk until we reach ground level.
